I’m in a seriously mug cake kind of mood, but I don’t have flour in the house right now.
So I found this recipe for a peanut butter mug cake, added some cocoa powder, and decided to see if it would bake.
The texture is springy, but it’s a little dry–I might need more oil than the peanut butter brings alone, or just to zap it slightly less long. But it’s not bad!
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 3 Tbsp peanut butter, well stirred
- 1 egg
Mix well in a microwaveable mug, until it’s a uniform brown.
Microwave 60 seconds (ish, adjust for your microwave. Mine is 1250 W)
Eat!
